“I was fortunate enough to get offered a corporate rate through work to join G&M Fitness and I’ve never looked back. In November 2013 I decided that it was time to get serious about losing weight and get in better shape. Six months after I started eating healthier and seeing the progress I was making at the gym, I took another big leap and quit smoking. It was all up hill for me from there. By February 2015 I was down almost 40 pounds and have been able to maintain my weight since then. Aside from the physical aspect there are so many other benefits from exercising regularly and eating better such as a higher self-esteem and overall sense of well-being. There were a lot of bumps in the road at the beginning of my journey and I still have ups and downs like everyone else but I stick with it. The people at G&M are all friendly and provide inclusiveness to members of all fitness levels which is why I keep coming back. The best piece of advice I can give to new members is to just stick with it no matter how hard you think it is because you’re worth it and you’re capable of more than you think! Take that first step toward a healthier lifestyle, you won’t regret it!”
