Although strength training can be described in many ways and strength itself can be achieved also in many different ways, we at G&M Fitness see strength training now as an essential part of everyone’s life. Why? There are two major reasons we find that strength training is essential.
One, strong muscles result in strong connective tissue, and in turn, strong connective tissue results in strong bones. The combination of the three will ensure that you maintain good posture throughout your life, avoid unnecessary loss of muscle tissue as you age, and most importantly, which brings us to the second reason strength training to us, is essential, is the fact that it will help you remain self reliant, functional and capable in your later years. If one of our goals is to live as long a life as we are able, we would certainly want those later years to be quality years. Thus the importance of strength training.
We at G&M Fitness specialize in strength training and functional training. There is nothing more satisfying to us than helping someone walk without a cane or crutches, get back to work as soon as possible, climb a flight of stairs without assistance or simply help them become physically fit.
