How NOT To Be Healthy

Instead of writing about what you should be doing to be healthier, which we have all heard a million times, we are going to try something different and have a little fun, listing off ways to NOT be healthy and hopefully get the message across in a slightly different way. If you know how not to be healthy, just do the opposite and you will be well on your way! Here it goes.
Always eat until you are stuffed.
This will ensure that you are always overeating and consuming too many calories and will ultimately lead to weight gain. You will also most likely feel tired and sluggish as well, which is perfect for maintaining an unhealthy lifestyle.
Don’t exercise.
Not just in the gym, try not be active at all. Exercise and activity are the enemy if you want to stay unfit.
If you do exercise, just go through the motions and don’t challenge yourself.
If you want to make sure you don’t get any results from your workouts, just take it easy and never push yourself. If you challenge your body with challenging weights and do cardio that gets your heart rate elevated, you are going to get in better shape, so don’t do that.
Don’t schedule your workout times.
If you purposely make time for your workouts and plan ahead for them, your chances of doing them and doing them consistently goes way up. We don’t want that if you want to stay unhealthy. So instead, don’t plan for them. Just do them “whenever you have time”. That way you will almost never do it.
Choose mostly processed foods over whole foods.
Processed foods are high in calories and low in nutrients. Perfect for staying unhealthy. Whole foods don’t have all those additives and are not striped of all their nutrients. Plus, whole foods will keep you feeling satiated and give you more energy.
Have an all or nothing mindset.
When you get off track, just give up. You have to either do everything perfectly 100% of the time or not at all. You will find that with this mindset you will just do nothing and will definitely not get healthier. Being consistent most of the time while allowing for some screw ups along the way is only good if you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle over the long term. Forget that.
Don’t prioritize sleep.
If you don’t sleep enough, your body can’t repair and recover properly. Stay up as late as possible to make sure you get very little sleep. This will also keep you feeling tired and lacking willpower to exercise and eat well. For an added bonus, eat a bunch of unhealthy snacks while you are staying up late. Sure beats a good nights sleep to be rested, recovered and ready to take on the next day.
If you get stuck, do not ask for help.
You are on your own. Unless you go to G&M Fitness. They actually want to help you and see you succeed. So don’t go there!
